The Wirth Family has presented this quilt square in loving memory of our daughter, AMANDA ROSE WIRTH. Amanda was a loving daughter, sister and friend. Her outgoing personality and kindness especially to those less fortunate will always be remembered. The quilt square itself is a piece of fabric from her favorite t-shirt. The rose in the center of the square represents Mandy's middle name. Roses were her favorite flower, especially peach colored roses. The tiger represents her high school mascot, Northwestern Tigers, where Mandy lettered in two sports, soccer and field hockey. She was co-captain on her soccer team. Ladybugs adorn Mandy's personal things, she loved ladybugs! Everyone who knew her knows how special the Ladybug was to her. Mandy graduated from Shippensburg University in 2003 with a BA in Communications and Public Relations. Murphy, her chocolate Springer Spaniel was her love. He lives with our family now. The Blue Mountain Summit was where Mandy worked during college. After graduation she became assistant manager of the B & B and restaurant. Her dream was to someday own and operate her own restaurant. Mandy touched so many lives with her dedication to always think of others. Her outgoing personality and ability to make others laugh will never be forgotten. We are so proud of her and what she believed in.
