Katelyn Ann Fischer
This square represents our sweet daughter, Katelyn. When Katelyn passed at age 21, on August 19, 2016, she was in her last year of college to become a pastry chef. Her picture and the cupcake represent this as she enjoyed baking and made many desserts such as, three tier cakes, pastries, donuts, and many other delicious sweet treats. She worked two jobs to gain skills in baking as she attended college.
One of Katelyn’s favorite places to travel was Disney World. Olaf is representing this. She enjoyed Disney movies and characters. Some of her favorite movies were Frozen, Big Hero 6, Dispicable Me, and Toy Story. Her favorite stuffed buddy to sleep with and the one she had at her bedside when she passed was Big Hero 6.
The butterfly is representing Katelyn today. Whenever we see butterflies, we remember our sweet Katie girl. We have seen more butterflies since she passed than seen in a long time.
Katelyn was a sweet, beautiful, and kind girl who would help out whenever she could. She loved helping with fundraisers for different causes. She packed boxes with her mom-mom for Samaritan’s Purse, helped her cousin raise funds for an adoption in China, and several others.
As her parents, if you take away one thing from looking at this square, she was a beautiful girl, who cared for people and was determined. God blessed us with having Katelyn for 21 years and for that we are thankful.
