The cross represents his faith and love of the lord. His hope was in Christ and he yearned for the day he would see him face to face. And now he is rejoicing in his presence.
John also loved baseball. He coached little league and was fantastic at it. He watched and attended as many games as he could. The Phillies were his team.
John enjoyed fishing as well. The time in nature and God’s creation was a way he would relax. Whether it was deep sea fishing or at a lake or stream he was always ready to go.
Lastly he loved his family. He enjoyed time with all of us. He worked hard so time was limited, but he enjoyed time with us when he had it. We have so many wonderful memories of playing games, swimming, fishing laughing, and just talking. He was a wonderful great grandfather, grandfather, father, and husband. He is loved and missed every day.
