To honor my husband Ed, I chose to do a quilt patch that reminds me of how much he loved the Philadelphia Eagles. Rain or shine he was there rooting them on. Win or lose, it didn’t matter, he never gave up on them. When his eye sight went he was forced to watch them on his big screen TV. He always said it wasn’t the same being at the stadium. His favorite color is red, so I wanted to add it to the quilt because I know he would have liked it. Ed was dedicated to his family more than life itself. He will be sorely missed by anyone that knew him, especially his family. I now know that he is at peace and he can fly high just like an eagle, all the way to heaven.
