Our son Nicholas Bond is missed every day. He was the youngest of our four boys. When he was younger he was very cautious about trying new things or meeting new people. Nicholas grew out of that to become a leader and a very funny young man. He was captain of his high school sports teams as well as a captain for his hockey teams. He was a member of the student council and had a great rapport with teachers and school administrators. Nicholas was a happy person, always had a smile on his face and ready to lend a helping hand. We knew something positive had to come from our tragedy. We knew he had to donate his organs.
We hope that everyone takes some of Nick’s spirit as they live each day. Whatever you do, do it with passion, give back, mentor and smile…It’s contagious.
