Five Bucks and Montgomery County residents were honored at the Gift of Life Donor Program’s annual Living Donor Recognition Ceremony for making the decision to donate a life-saving organ, such as a kidney or a piece of their liver.
More than 40 pairs of living donors and recipients were joined by family and friends for the program on Feb. 22 in King of Prussia.
Honored were: Sue Levy Giles, of Abington; Tom Schwabe of Doylestown; Doug Sams of North Wales; Kelly Schmidtt, of Lansdale; and Allison Marietta, of Bensalem.
