Theodore Dalpiaz

TYROLEAN Heritage: Ted’s family was from Northern Italy. Ted was very proud of his Tyrolean ethnicity. Ted was fluent in Italian and loved to travel to Italy to speak the language. Ted was a devout Catholic.

PENN STATE GRAD: Ted was a first generation high school and college graduate. Ted graduated from Penn State University, in 1970; obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering; completed his MBS from Wilkes University.

ENGINEER: For his last 30 years of employment Ted worked for Pennsylvania Power & Life at the Susquehanna Nuclear Station, Berwick, PA. He was one of the first start up Engineers and held many managerial positions.

AVID READER: Ted loved to read. He excelled in economics, politics, and had a wealth of knowledge in science, math, history, geography and so many more topics. Ted averaged at least 40 books a year.

WORLD TRAVELER: Ted loved to travel. It was another way he gained knowledge and experiences. Ted and his wife, Mary, traveled to all 7 continents and over 40 countries. Ted loved photography and he developed many travel albums after each of his trips.

BALLROOM DANCER: Ted and Mary enjoyed Ballroom dancing…taking lessons close to 20 years. Ted was a great dancer: Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing, Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha, Tango, and West Coast Swing.

IN ADDITION: Woodworking, carpentry, gardening, exercised daily on Nordic Track and the treadmill’ walked 2-4 miles a day.

Lastly, Ted was a LOVING HUSBAND to Mary for 47 years. A GREAT DADDY to his 3 daughters: ANNE, JENNIFER, and THERESA and a FABULOUS PAP PAP to his 6 grandchildren: Catherine, Jack, Dominic, Victoria, Lorenzo, and Aurelia.
