We wanted Geoffrey’s square to represent things that he loved doing in life.
This picture of him blowing bubbles was selected because he found joy in everything he did no matter how big or small.
He was smart and inquisitive, always asking, “what’s that?”. Geoffrey enjoyed school, absorbing everything, learning his ABCs and numbers quickly always ready to show off how well he could recite them. We included “make friends” because every day he was asked what he did in school that day and he would say, “make friends”.
He was a cheerful little boy that played with dinosaurs and could name some of them.
He soaked up every word and song on Blippi learning the types of trucks with the excavator as his favorite. He made driving past construction sites fun because you would slow down so he could check out the construction vehicles.
Geoffrey treasured his Paw Patrol bike and raced all over the house giggling when we would make him do fast always saying, “again, again”.
He liked playgrounds. He was fearless climbing the equipment like a big kid. Going to the beach he was able to play in the sand and was a little fish going in the water and jumping waves.
We included M&Ms because one night he needed to stay in his chair after dinner so to distract him an M&M was placed under each dinosaur on his tray. He was told they were dinosaur poop and he found it funny.
Geoffrey gave us his heart every day by enjoying life and being a happy kid. In death he gave again, sharing his kidneys and liver to those who needed them.
We love and miss him terribly.
