Dragonflies are a symbol of happiness, new beginnings, and change. Tyler and I both loved dragonflies, for their beauty and symbolism.
During Tyler’s short time here with us, he went through many new beginnings. Through each one he learned to put other’s first.
He became a mentor to those struggling with addiction and helped save many lives. Leading them to a relationship with God and helping them to overcome their struggles.
Tyler’s passion to save lives continued when he became an EMT.
Faith was a very important part of his life! All who knew him know that he was a brilliant young man with a heart and mind full of Christ.
It was obvious the overflowing amount of love he gave to everyone and everything around him.
Tyler’s calling to save lives continues on, as his last wish was to donate his organs and bless others with the gift of life.
The Gift of Life program was able to find someone for Tyler’s heart, liver, his kidneys were able to save two separate individuals.
His lungs and pancreas will be able to help in medical research. His donated bone will be able to help between 50 and 100 people. Vessels of his legs can help individuals requiring heart bypass surgery. His donated skin can help save severely burned patients.
All our lives have changed and we miss him more than words could ever express!! We do know he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we will see him again someday!
