Craig J. Salomon

Craig James Salomon was an 8th grade student in middle school. He was an amazing kid, who had a wide array of interests. Craig was a National Honor Society inductee. He was a catcher for his baseball team, an award-winning wrestler in one of the most competitive regions of the country, a Boy Scout, drum player and surprisingly took to acting at a young age. He was an old soul who loved a variety of music and embraced family traditions. He loved following politics, enjoyed writing food reviews and was the household “go to” for random facts. Craig was popular among his peers, a loyal friend and respected for his honesty. His calm and tranquil nature made him a natural leader and peacekeeper. He had a smile that could light up the room and an amazing sense of humor. While he enjoyed video games, he preferred being outside, going to the ocean, skiing, exploring, biking riding or climbing trees. His friends looked to him for adventure and fun ideas, whether good or bad. He loved his pets and especially his cat, Sam. He had an unbreakable bond with his twin and idolized his older sister. He was his father’s mini me and his mother’s sweet baby. Craig was the biggest surprise of our lives and brought our deepest sorrows. We firmly believe Craig was brought to this world to change it for the better. He was such a giving kid and he often volunteered to help others. With that said, we knew he would have wanted to be a donor as his final act of kindness here on earth.
