Izzy was an amazing light in the world. Wise beyond her years, hysterical and always down for learning anything and everything. She was filled with questions. She loved life, her family, her friends, Starbucks, Stitch, Baby Yoda, Sharpies, roadtrips and all things Checkered (especially her vans). Her love of Christ made her such a beautiful soul. Organ donation was so important to Izzy. “Taking your organs to the ground is so selfish, Mom”… she said that the week before she passed away. That’s all I, as her Mom, needed to know when asked if I was interested in organ donation with Gift of Life!
