Rev. H. Randolph Caines, Jr. PhD, Th.D

This square represents some of the segments in Randolph's life. Prior to entering the ministry, Randolph worked in many secular fields. As a Minister (he held ordinations in Catholic and Protestant denominations), the Bible was one of his tools of his trade. The top center is the Bishop's crest, which was created for him when he was elevated to Bishop. The top left is representative of the many churches in which he preached the Gospel.
The ambulance stands for his career as an EMT (one of the first African American EMTs in the state of Nevada). The fire engine reflects his career as the Fire Inspector for the city of Hialeah, FL.
Below the ambulance are the call letters for station WMBM in FL. Randolph was an on air personality for the gospel music programming segments. The AACC symbol is just one representation of the multiple organizations to which he belonged.
The bottom row symbolizes the beginning of a partnership, which developed into holy matrimony. We developed and led a program that taught African American children about their heritage. It was a Saturday program we named NIA (NIA is an African word which means "purpose"). Our passion for teaching children is what brought us together and our love for each other is what brought us to the altar. The middle bottom picture symbolizes our marriage (6/5/93) and the bottom right is the logo for the counseling and educational center we formed, the Children's Guidance Center.
The center picture is the love of my life, Randolph.
