Patricia Sweitzer

April 12, 1946 to November 20, 2005

This memory patch is in honor of our devoted mother/grandmother and the love on which she built our family. Even though she is not here physically, her love and spirit remains with us and our family motto: One Family, One Love, One Circle Unbroken.

We chose to show our motto in a rainbow because rainbows are one of the most beautiful creations to behold and they shine the brightest after the worst of storms: so does our family pull together and we break through life’s storms with amazing love and strength like the colors of a rainbow. Our virtues are shown on the rings in each corner: family, love, strength, courage.

Mom loved everything American Indian because we have Cherokee Indian in our heritage. We chose the dream catcher to represent peaceful rest for her eternal spirit and the eagle to carry her spirit.

The hot air balloon ride is a dream she was never able to attain “here.”

She loved elephants and summer sunsets.

The angel and paw print is her beloved little poodle “Wiggles.” Mom always called her “my little angel.”

Finally, the tree represents our “circle.”

Three main branches-her children, and those branching off the main limbs-her grandchildren.
