Casey E. Morris

12/26/1984 – 10/30/2005

First let me say that there isn’t a quilt square or quilt big enough to put into pictures or words what our Casey was truly like. He was a kind and gentle soul from the time he was little, and family and friends always came first. Casey touched many lives in his twenty short years and because of his wish to be an organ donor he continues to live on and help make life better for others. Casey, you were truly or gift from God.

The Quilt Square-

The Blue Background- Blue was Casey’s favorite color.

The Musical Notes- Casey loved his music, always playing it and downloading it.

The Soccer Balls- Casey placed soccer since he was 5 years old. He started as a goalie but he loved to run and soon played the field. He played for the Red Land Soccer Club and for a traveling team. When he was in Middle School he was bussed to Red Land and played for the High School. Casey played all four years once he attended Red Land. He continued to play on a men’s league up until his passing.

The Dog- Kirby was Casey’s dog and best friend for 13 years. Kirby also passed away this year and is now together again with his buddy.

The Stars- When Casey was little, I would tuck him in at night and we would play a little game we called “I Love You More.” I would say, “I love you more than all the sand on the beach,” and he would say, “ I love you more than all the water in the ocean.” And we would try to out do each other. The stars represent “I Love You More.”

I Love You More Than All The Stars In The Universe
