Johnathan Edward Paquette

Jon came into this world seven weeks early weighing only 4lbs, 6 ounces. He was delightful from the first minute we saw him. Jon was always fun to be around. He had a great sense of humor and he cherished his family. Jon only had one sibling, his brother Jeff. The two of them were inseparable their whole lives. They did everything together and even shared the same group of friends. Jon was always a hard worker and was someone everyone could depend on. When he started working at age 16, he saved every one of his paychecks for two years so he could buy a 4×4 truck for himself. By age 18 he owned a classic car and his 4×4 truck. He continued to work and go to the University of Delaware, and by the age of 21 he had purchased his beloved motorcycle. Jon had a wonderful sense of humor that kept everyone laughing. Jon loved flying radio control airplanes with his dad and brother. He loved riding motorcycles and he also loved animals. He grew up with his beloved Corgi, named Barney, and in college he had two cats, Mona and Eddy. As his mom, I will always miss the great talks we had and how he used to make me laugh everyday. He was a caring, passionate, empathetic person and everyone wanted to be part of his circle of friends. Jon looked forward to working for the DuPont Company after graduating college. He only had one semester left when he passed away. Jon was very special. He was a great son, brother, and friend. He touched the lives of everyone he knew. We will miss him greatly, but we know we were extremely lucky to have had such a special son.
