Christopher’s nickname was “Beast.” His friends call the “gentle beast.” Wow, what friends he had. So many to count. He loved to play sports and was all-Catholic (football) at St. John Neuman H.S. If you met him for the first time, he was your friend for life. He was a son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and Godfather. He had the Gift of life, friends and family that love him no matter what. His 6’4” body (205 lbs) made him stand out, wherever he was.
A smile so big, it lit a room. We will never forget this gentle beast. Every year since he died, his friends throw a fund raiser, in his honor. The proceeds go to Our Lady of Mt. Caramel’s football team (the Warriors) and a summer camp for teaching children “how to play football.” It’s called “Beast Camp.” What an honor it is to have a wonderful son in our lives. Now everyone has a big smiley angel on their shoulders. He’s still looking out for us.
