Roger D. Seville

11/20/41-5/21/07

Roger was born and raised in McConnellsburg, PA. He was one of nine children born to Lloyd and Gladys Bishop Seville.

He met his wife, Betty, at the local bus terminal where she worked as a cashier. They married on September 12, 1959. On August 9th, 1966 they became the parents of twins, a boy and a girl. In 1972, Roger and his family moved to Newville so he would be closer to his work as a truck driver. His career as a truck driver continued until 1989. That was the year the company that he worked for went bankrupt. Deciding to change career paths, Roger started his own landscaping business. He owned and operated Seville’s Lawn & Landscaping for nine years. During that time, Roger’s health began to deteriorate and it forced him to retire from the business that he loved.

Roger enjoyed camping, watching old westerns, and NASCAR racing. He also enjoyed his beautiful grandchildren, Tyler, Sydney, MacKenzie, and Jordan. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who is missed tremendously each day.
