David was only 20 years old when he died, suddenly and very unexpectedly. He passed nine days after his favorite holiday, Christmas. He was known for his firm handshake and ready smile. He was a very respectful and caring young man, always willing to lend a hand, or a shoulder to cry on. David wanted to be a hero all of his life, the volunteering he did, the advice he gave, the veterans he served and the ultimate donation he gave, the gift of life. He was a hero, he got what he wanted. He was an amazing family member, and a friend to all, our world is not the same with out him. David, you are missed every day, you will never be forgotten, and you will always be in our hearts. 5/22/1989- 12/16/2009, for that moment in time the world was a better place.
