Nicholas J. Trunzo

May 24, 1940 – October 17, 2009

The square submitted in memory of Nick was made from one of his favorite ties. It represents the pride he felt for his profession. The aspects of his life which he valued the greatest were his faith, his family and his profession. Nick was devoted to his faith. The love that he had for his family was absolute. He truly placed service to others above himself. He served his community tirelessly. Nick was a pillar of strength, was patient beyond compare and was compassionate in every way. His gentler nature was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Although our hearts are broken, we consider ourselves fortunate to have been touched by such a special man. The way in which he lived serves as an inspiration to follow his example of true goodness. Nick left our world too soon but his gifts remain. We are proud of his "gift of life." This small square is part of such a moving tribute to others who have generously given their "gift of life." Being a part of such kindness is a wonderful way to honor the memory of such a great man.
