Charles Wolf

1/4/32 – 3/27/09

The iconic image of a lone gray wolf howling at the moon is made of cotton fabric and gray wool felt using Karen Eckmeier's accidental landscape technique

This quilt block was made for Betty Wolf in memory of her husband Charles Wolf who is always in her heart. The sixteen stars in the night sky represent the three children, then grandchildren and three great-grandchildren of Betty and Charles Wolf. I found it a great honor to make this quilt block for the Wolf family and I hope it brings peace to all who view the Threads of Love Memorial Quilt.

Thank you
