This quilt square is in honor of Jim Healy. If you were blessed to have known Jim, you benefitted from his detailed vacation planning, his fun-loving pranks and his willingness to provide advice and counsel. He lived his life as a devoted husband, father and friend. He was always quick to help a close friend or a complete stranger which is evident through his organ and tissue donations. Whether he was working on one of his hobbies or writing new policies as the President of his Home Ownership Association, Jim put forth his best effort. The attention to detail and craftsmanship in his woodworking always impressed everyone who was fortunate enough to see his masterpieces. Neighbors will never forget the water fights that started on the spur of the moment, and co-workers will always remember how he stood up for what was right. Most important to Jim, though, was his family. He loved gatherings with his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, children and grandchildren, and most importantly his loving wife Margaret. After being the subject of one of Jim's jokes, Margaret would kiddingly say, "You don't love me anymore" and Jim was always quick to reply, "That's right…because it's impossible to love you any more that I already do!" Jim always said how proud he was of his children and grandchildren, and we certainly are extremely proud of him. We miss our husband, dad, grandpop, brother, uncle and friend. We love you and deeply miss you!
