Cybil Elizabeth Fleisher

The Lord joyfully blessed our life with a beautiful baby girl. On August 10, 2010, at 11:49 am CYBIL ELIZABETH FLEISHER entered this world breathing and cooing on her own. A miracle in its own, for a baby with her diagnosis. Cybil weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and 18 inches long. The Lord works in miraculous ways; GOD IS GOOD. The Lord provided us with two whole days to hold, love and baptize our amazing little angel. We wanted our sweet baby to feel as much love as possible while she was with us, and we could not have done it with out our family and friends. As my Uncle Doug once said "It takes a family to raise a child". We are so very blessed.

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart proverbs 3:5

It was when we gave our whole heart and trust to the Lord, that we found the true strength, courage and most of all, the peace to conquer each day as it came. The last 20 weeks of the pregnancy was a journey we will never forget or regret. It made us stronger as Christians and a family. Cybil was a blessing; she brought so much joy into our lives, both before she was born and after. Before she was born, God reminded us to slow down and appreciate every second of every minute of every "kick". I don't think I held or touched my belly, in my whole life, as much as I did in the last nine months.

Because the Lord chose us as parents for this very special baby, we wanted Cybil to have the time she needed to grow; we made it to 40 weeks, In the middle of summer. Which again is a miracle. Even though we knew we might not bring Cybil home, the decision was one of the easiest. Her beautiful little heart beat was amazing, and hearing it every week brought us so much joy and happiness.

Knowing that God had given Cybil such a beautiful healthy little heart, we decided to share that beauty with another child in need. At birth, Cybil was able to reach the birth weight of 6 pounds, 3 ounces, which made her eligible to be a donor for The Gift of Life Program. In our hearts we felt that God provided us with a gift we should share. Cybil was able to share her heart valves to help make another child healthy. It gives us great joy to know that another baby could be healthy because of our little Cybil Elizabeth.

Because of our faith, and the love the Lord has provided us, we look forward to everlasting life with our precious little baby.

We have been graced by the life of Cybil Elizabeth.

Love
