Stephen G. Semanek

A pink and purple motorcycle? You would think who would every ride that bike! People would see Stephen on his motorcycle everyday, rain or shine. He and his friend custom painted the bike, which is different from the original black and yellow like when he bought it. Come people make fun of it and others loved it. But everyone knew who rode that bike.

Stephen worked at our local Kmart as a pharmacy technician, the longer he worked at this job he decided this is the path he wanted to take in life. He started to go to the local community college but had to stop midstream due to his finances.

Stephen loved his family. He has two brothers, and one sister and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and tons of friends. He was loved by all who knew him. He loved doing things with his family and friends, life hunting, fishing, snowboarding, riding his bike, hiking, and playing games on his computer.

On his way to work on a sunny Monday morning, he was involved in a terrible accident. As his family and about 30 of his closest friends sat at the hospital, we prayed and waited for his recovery. But to no avail he never recovered.

But through Stephen's tragic death comes life. The hopes and prayers become a reality because he was an organ donor. Through his organ donations Stephen brought joy and life to others.

There is much sadness in our hearts, but knowing that he lives on in the life of others is a comfort to all of us. Stephen was only twenty-seven years old.

ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS
