Robert J. Rolph, Jr.

“BOBBY”

It has been just over a year since the passing of our son, Robert J. Rolph, Jr. We miss him terribly every day. Our Bobby was a handsome young man who lived life to his fullest. Although Bobby was in a wheelchair, it did not hold him back. Bobby played wheelchair basketball, sled hockey and track. His favorite sport was basketball. He also was assistant coach for our local football youth club. The players loved him and looked at him as one of the guys, not the boy in the wheelchair. Bobby was also an avid Philadelphia sports team fan. He loved the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and the Sixers. At the time of Bobby’s death many kind words were spoken about him. Bobby had a kind heart and never really said a mean thing about anyone. Someone other words that describe Bobby are: he was courageous, inspirational, funny, loving and honest and gave the best hugs.

Bobby was the little brother of his only sister Justine. Bobby and Justine had quite a unique relationship. They rarely fought, were always there for each other and truly loved each other. Anytime Bobby was in need, sick or just needed a ride to work, Justine was there for him. Donating Bobby’s organs was his wish and we simply fulfilled his last wishes and as a result we feel as if Bobby’s life is still going on.

Love,
