Travis Montana Repp

Born in the town of Bethlehem on a cool September night, we knew you were to be different from the beginning. At 10 lbs., 20 oz., the doctor had to break your collar bone to bring you into this world, exclaiming, “Look at the shoulders on this boy, like a football player!” And so it was, your middle name, Montana, after the 49ers quarterback.

Travis, you marched to a different drummer, looking at the world from a different viewpoint most of your 21 years. When young, you would get frustrated with people that wouldn’t see things your way or follow your lead, I would quietly tell you, “you will be a great leader someday, just not quite yet…”

With an infectious laugh and rye sense of humor, with your heart on your sleeve, you traveled through you teen years with a sense of wisdom far beyond your years, offering your viewpoint not so much as advice but more as a different or second look at your peer’s life problems or decisions. That viewpoint was taken by more than a few and used to move in a more positive direction. Your legacy was your wisdom, your viewpoint.

Your love of computers, food and fishing proved to all of us that your tenacity yielded great results. Above all, you valued family and friends, telling all of us “love you” every change, every day, as if you knew your time was short. You are loved by many, missed by all.

Happy Fishing to you Travis Montana, we’ll see you at Sunset.

“Love you”,

Mom, Dad, Zack, your family & friends.
