This quilt square has been made in memory of Kyria Hunton 10/14/1993 – 6/10/11. This square was made to encompass Kyria’s personality. She was a bright, beautiful and generous girl. Kyria’s photo is in the heart in the center of the square signifying her love of life as well as our love for her. The gold stitches that make the starburst around the heart represent all those who have been touched by her radiant personality. Around the edges of the square are saying which she loved. Red was chosen as the predominant color because of the warmth it exudes, which reminds us of Kyria.
