This quilt square is given in memory of Brenda Brown: our loving friend, wife, mother and grandmother.
An avid quilter herself, her favorite place on earth was the beach. In this quilt square is the sand she felt beneath her toes; the shells gathered as she walked; the footprints left by her, her best friend and beloved husband, their beloved family and friends and the footprints of he whom carried her in the end; the pebbles that washed in with the calming waves; a pinwheel to represent the wind in her hair as she smiled; and a flipflop for her favorite footwear no matter the time of year.
May the glimpse of the beach bring you the forever smile she shared by the sea.
