The patch I created describes my son Jahsir in many ways but in little details.
The music notes are examples of Jahsir because he loved to listen to music, not any type of music- he really loved gospel and church music. Jahsir also loved bright colorful lights so that’s what the lightbulb with different colors mean.
Lastly, the words faith, love and joy are a few words that described Jahsir.
Faith- is what I put in God’s hands to let him show me how to be a great mother
Love- something I always gave Jahsir no matter what obstacle I was put through
Joy- The smile Jahsir put on his face showing how strong he always was after the many surgeries and bad news we received
The reason I chose orange as the background is because it was my favorite color for Jahsir. Not only that, but because orange also means optimistic and uplifting while having an inspiring and positive outlook on life and showing motivation through bad times. Jahsir showed all of that and above through every struggle he went through and still put a smile on his face for others.
