Greg Wilson

Greg Wilson was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Christian and attended church regularly. Greg loved his wife and three daughters and was the go-to parent for advice. He loved his five grandchildren and wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.

Greg retired from Suburban Propane after 35 years and then was a bus driver for Central Dauphin School District.

He really enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to go camping with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling and often took car trips with his wife and grandchildren to Ocean City, MD. For several years, the entire family spent Thanksgiving weekend at the shore. It was a family tradition to take the grandchildren to the Winterfest of Lights in Ocean City, MD over Christmas vacation.

Greg enjoyed sports and bowled on a league with his wife for several years. His high game was a 299. He played on a golf league for several years and was an assistant coach for his granddaughter’s little league baseball team. He co-coached the Palmyra BB gun team the year they won the PA competition and traveled to Dubuque, Iowa for national competition.

Greg was an avid Hershey Bears fan and his favorite pastime was attending Hershey Bears games as a season ticket holder. Two of his grandsons are Hershey Junior Bears.

His favorite chore around the house was mowing the lawn on his John Deere tractor. Twice a week you would find him mowing the lawn and listening to the radio wearing his headphones. He even cut the grass in front of the field adjacent to our home.

Greg was a very happy person and was always smiling. He was loved by his family and his family knew that he loved them!
