Thomas D. Prohigh

Tom was born on June 24, 1971, to parents who loved and cared about him very much. He was joined by a sister, Karen, in 1975. Growing up they were very close.

As a child, Tom was interested in computers, electronics and music. He took apart and put a computer back together at the age of 10. Making electronic kits was a hobby he enjoyed very much. As for music, he was first chair clarinet in the orchestra at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ, where he graduated from in 1989. He graduated from SUNY Utica with a Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering Technology.

Tom married his love, Rachel, in 1998. He became an instant father to two girls, Emily and Melissa. He and Rachel had two more girls, Katie and Caragh. He loved his family very much. He was a very loving father and husband.

Tom was a Ham operator, his call letters are pictured on the quilt. He had a map of the work in his office with push pins showing the various countries where he contacted other Ham operators.

He was a very gently loyal person who had many friends that speak highly of him and miss him very much.

Tom is loved and

Missed by his entire family.
