Andrew Jonathan DiFiore

March 20, 1985-March 22, 2014

Andrew was the beloved son of Jack and Diane, brother to Cara, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He was full of life, active, energetic and did everything with courage and gusto from eating to rollerblading. He had many friends and a great desire to help others.

Andrew’s calling in life was to work with kids. He accomplished part of this dream by graduating from West Chester University in December of 2013. He had a gift for connecting with young people. This was obvious when watching him guide and instruct campers at the challenge ropes course every summer. He developed a strong program, incorporating safety measures and reachable goals for young campers to attain. Today, a sign, bearing his name stands at the entrance of the challenge ropes course honoring his memory.

This patch, made with love, was made from Andrew’s blue patchwork pillow, and his initials were made from the red flannel shirt that he wore his last Christmas with us. He referred to that Christmas as, “the best Christmas ever”.

We will miss him dearly. His sense of humor, lumbering footsteps, and goofy laugh will be remembered by many. Andrew will live within our hearts forever, and we look forward to the day when we will be together again.
