Don was a very warm and kind person. He always saw a good in everyone when others could not. He had very warm blue eyes and saw the world as a beautiful place. I donated his eyes so that the one who received them could see the world as he did. Don and I had been together for 27 years. Our health had taken a wrong turn and we shared the same room for 4 years in a Nursing Home when God took him home. I am sad without him but I know he is no longer suffering, for he fought a long battle and God gave him peace. I know he is in a better place.
Everyone who came in contact with Don truly loved him. He brought sunshine and laughter to everyone and always in good spirits. I feel that I am a Blessed one for sight to someone in honor of Don and wishes have come true that someone will see again.
