Peter quilt square represents what we believe best describes some of the most important parts of his life. His nickname was “Big Pun”, from a Marvel comic book character, the punisher, that’s the funny skull. The Celtic cross is for his belief in God , and the shamrock for his Irish heritage, that he bragged about all the time. He loved all kind of sports, he met the love of his life, Jenn, while playing softball. The heart is for his love of family, friends and especially Jenn. Jenn and Pete loved the group Shinedown, their album Amaryllis was their favorite. The story goes, that Pete was singing one day in the car, and said “blue “, instead of “bloom”. Jenn laughed and said, “you sang the wrong word, so it became a joke and every time they heard the song, they would say “blue”.
