This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine! Let it shine, shine, shine, let it shine!
This song reflects how everyone that met Violet felt about her. She was our inextinguishable light, a light that cannot be replaced. I am grateful that she continues to be a light for all that knew her and through her gift of donation. What follows is something that Violet wrote for a school project. I think in her own words is the best way to describe her.
“If you knew me, you would know I love everything chocolate. If you really knew me, it would be clear that I have a love for cats. Also, I am obsessed with Peter Pan. I have a giant collection of Peter Pan books, movies and plays, not to mention the giant poster of him hanging above my bed. If you really knew me, you would be aware that I never leave the house without my water bottle. If you really knew me, you would notice that I love my family more than anything. If you really knew me, you would see that I can’t help but smile when I hear a baby’s laugh. If you really knew me, knew me, you would know that I believe Jesus Christ saved us all.”
