On April 13, 2018, Donors Are Heroes and The Gift of Life Donor Program hosted THE Party at the Hyatt at the Bellevue. Co-founded by Don and Renne Freeman, THE Party celebrated its 16th anniversary with a goal to raise funds to help maintain public awareness programs, school summits, and teaching initiatives that are designed to educate individuals about becoming an organ and tissue donor. Guests enjoyed a VIP cocktail hour followed by an evening filled with delicious lite bites, desserts, and dancing, courtesy of DJ Eddie Tully and singer Jessy Kyle.
