Richard (Rick) Hasz, Jr., MFS, CPTC | President and Chief Executive Officer
Richard (Rick) Hasz, Jr., MFS, CPTC, is president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Gift of Life Donor Program where he has been on staff since 1993. Mr. Hasz started at Gift of Life as a transplant coordinator before serving as the program’s vice president of clinical services for 22 years, assuming the role of president and CEO on January 4, 2022. In addition to his roles at Gift of Life, he is also the president of the Gift of Life Transplant Foundation, Gift of Life Institute and Gift of Life Howie’s House. He is supported by an expert team of professionals who are leaders in organ donation and transplantation best practices, setting global standards for compassionate and innovative care.
Mr. Hasz is a respected expert in the field, delivering lectures and education sessions for organizations and professional societies at home and abroad. He has participated in publishing hundreds of scientific papers and abstracts, led collaborations with leading medical centers and shared his knowledge and expertise with government and other national organizations.
Mr. Hasz holds membership in the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization, The American Society of Transplant Surgeons and The American Association of Tissue Banks. He is a member of the City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health Institutional Review Board. He served as a board member of Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services and has served on the Transplant Alliance’s Donor Management Leadership Council.
Mr. Hasz has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Forensic Science from George Washington University. He holds certifications as a certified procurement transplant coordinator (CPTC) and a certified transplant preservationist (CTP).

Christine Radolovic, MS, BSN, RN | Chief Clinical Officer
Christine Radolovic, MS, BSN, RN, joined Gift of Life in 2002 and now serves as the chief clinical officer, leading day-to-day clinical operations for the busiest of the 56 OPOs in the U.S. Ms. Radolovic’s career encompasses nearly 20 years of life-saving work in organ donation and transplantation, having started as a transplant coordinator and most recently serving as director of transplant coordinator services. She and her team work 24/7 to address the critical need for organs for transplant, working daily with donor families, medical professionals, hospital administrators and others in the donation and transplant community to promote and increase opportunities for donation.
Ms. Radolovic’s team has led the nation in the most organ donors among all U.S. OPOs every year since 2008, and she shares that expertise as a training partner in collaboration with the National Association of Transplant Coordinators (NATCO), Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) and the International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP).
Prior to joining Gift of Life, Ms. Radolovic worked as an ICU nurse at Paoli Hospital in suburban Pennsylvania helping patients who were critically in need of excellent medical care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in organizational development and strategic leadership from Neumann University in Pennsylvania. Ms. Radolovic is licensed as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania.

Jan L. Weinstock, Esq. | Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel
Jan L. Weinstock, Esq., is chief administrative officer and general counsel for Gift of Life and its affiliates, Gift of Life Howie’s House and Gift of Life Transplant Foundation. Her work with Gift of Life spans more than 30 years, first as external counsel and then as a member of the executive leadership team. In her role, Ms. Weinstock also serves as executive director of Gift of Life Howie’s House, a first-of-its-kind independent transplant hospitality house that is now 10 years old.
Ms. Weinstock joined Gift of Life in 1999 after serving as a partner at Blank, Rome, Comisky & McCauley LLP in its health law department. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Villanova School of Law, Ms. Weinstock was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a woman of distinction (2008) and by Arrive magazine as one of the top women lawyers in the Northeast (2011).
Ms. Weinstock has led numerous philanthropic, volunteer and advocacy initiatives, but she is particularly proud of her work drafting and lobbying for Act 102 in Pennsylvania. This groundbreaking legislation – which later served as a national model – changed the face of donation and transplantation within the state, allowing individuals the opportunity to register as an organ and tissue donor when they obtain or renew their driver’s license.

Marty Sellers, MD, MPH | Medical Director
Board-certified transplant surgeon Marty Sellers, MD, MPH, joined Gift of Life Donor Program as medical director in 2024. He oversees the program’s team of skilled recovery surgeons, focusing on improving the quality of organ recovery and the scope of organ preservation services provided to increase opportunities to save lives while also working to enhance relationships with hospital partners.
As one of the nation’s leading experts on normothermic regional perfusion (NRP), an innovative procedure to help preserve organ quality, Dr. Sellers builds upon Gift of Life’s established record of implementing state-of-the-art clinical practices to increase the number of organs available for transplantation.
Dr. Sellers completed his clinical transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He was associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and surgical director of renal transplantation at CHOP. His experience across the country as a medical director, surgeon, and transplant program founder has helped save countless lives.
Dr. Sellers is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, American Society of Transplantation, and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He served as 2022-23 medical advisor for the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), served on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) OPO Committee from 2017-2020, and is a current member of the UNOS Ad hoc Disease Transmission Advisory Committee.
Dr. Sellers earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he completed his general surgery residency as well as an NIH-sponsored research fellowship in surgical oncology. He graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Elizabeth Brown, BSN, RN | Vice President, Clinical Practice Optimization & Education
Elizabeth Brown, BSN, RN, joined Gift of Life in 2006 and is now the vice president of Clinical Practice Optimization & Education for Gift of Life Donor Program.
Ms. Brown most recently served as vice president of Transplant Coordinator Services at Gift of Life, providing clinical support, expertise and supervision to a team of coordinators who support families and collaborate closely with hospital staff during all phases of the donation process.
Prior to joining Gift of Life, Ms. Brown worked as a nurse at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and as a travel nurse in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University and is licensed as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania.
Karin Cornish, JD | Vice President, Human Resources and Administrative Services
Karin Cornish is the vice president of human resources and administrative services for Gift of Life Donor Program, having joined the organization in January 2022. Ms. Cornish uses her extensive business and human resources expertise to advance the mission of organ and tissue donation and transplantation by supporting Gift of Life’s more than 300 employees.
Ms. Cornish brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources to her role. Prior to joining Gift of Life, Ms. Cornish was the senior director of human resources for Project HOME where she led a five-member team of human resources professionals in areas including talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, corporate training and performance management. She is well versed in change management, succession planning and increasing employee engagement, and has an eye for detail in all she does.
Ms. Cornish holds a Juris Doctorate from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, where she was active in the Moot Court Society and Black Law Students Association. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. Ms. Cornish is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Theresa Daly, BS, MS | Vice President, Gift of Life Institute
As vice president of the Gift of Life Institute, Theresa Daly oversees day-to-day operations of the education and research division of Gift of Life Transplant Foundation, our non-profit charitable organization. The Institute, founded in 2004, has worked with every organ procurement organization in the U.S, as well as many tissue banks, facilitated more than 600 workshops, and trained more than 14,000 donation professionals from over 39 countries.
Gift of Life Institute includes the Transplant Pregnancy Registry International (TPRI). TPRI, founded in 1991, is the longest-running voluntary pregnancy registry of its type in the world and studies the effects of pregnancy on transplant recipients (both male and female) and the effects of immunosuppressive medication on fertility and pregnancy outcomes.
Ms. Daly joined GOL Institute in 2006 as assistant director. Previously, she served as associate director in the Medical School Curriculum Office at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. She has presented at both national and international forums on educating the donation professional. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business/management and a Master of Science degree in instructional technology from Saint Joseph’s University.
Dilip Joseph | Vice President, Information Technology
Dilip Joseph is the vice president of information technology for Gift of Life Donor Program, overseeing the operations of IT at Gift of Life and all affiliate organizations. Mr. Joseph started his career in India, working for tech giants DELL and IBM before immigrating to the U.S. His degrees are in business management and computer science, and he has used those skills for a wide variety of organizations and industries over the last 20 years.
Mr. Joseph plays an active role in the AOPO IT Council, a forum to address issues related to information technology and systems within OPOs. He has been with Gift of Life for over 10 years, starting as a network administrator and growing with the organization. Mr. Joseph is proud to be a part of the OPO community.
Gweneth D. O’Shaughnessy | Vice President, Hospital Services
Gweneth D. O’Shaughnessy is the vice president of hospital services at Gift of Life. She and her team are responsible for optimizing donation and transplantation outcomes across the region’s acute care hospitals. Ms. O’Shaughnessy joined Gift of Life in 1996. Since leading the Hospital Services team, she has grown it from four team members to more than twenty. Ms. O’Shaughnessy has served the national and international communities in a number of capacities, including chairing the AOPO Hospital Development Council, serving on the AOPO Annual Meeting Planning Committee, serving as faculty for Gift of Life Institute and being a leadership coach for the Wharton/Fox ‘Art and Science of Leadership’ Program.
Ms. O’Shaughnessy’s specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, stakeholder relations, training and development and process improvement. In 2021, Ms. O’Shaughnessy was the project lead for the UNOS DCD Collaborative, an initiative aimed at increasing DCD Donation by 25%. Gift of Life more than doubled the number of DCD donors in 2021, far surpassing the national goal. In 2022, she became project lead for the CMS/HRSA ‘Kidney Collaborative,’ a five-year initiative aimed at dramatically increasing the number of kidney donors and reducing the number of kidneys that are not utilized for transplantation.
Randy Presant, MA | Vice President, Public Affairs & Family Services
Randy Presant is vice president of Public Affairs & Family Services for Gift of Life, where she oversees communications, community engagement and family support programs. Prior to joining Gift of Life in 2016, Ms. Presant held senior leadership positions in top communications and health care organizations where she led marketing communications programs for companies such as AstraZeneca, Cigna, Dun & Bradstreet and IBM.
Ms. Presant is in her second term on the board of Maternity Care Coalition, and she has served on numerous committees for Philadelphia parks and schools, as well as organizations such as the Public Citizens for Children and Youth and the National MC Society.
Ms. Presant started her career in journalism, writing for national publications such as Cosmopolitan, Family Circle and The Washington Post. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in marketing communications from Temple University.
Richard Ryan | Vice President, Organ and Tissue Recovery Services
Richard Ryan joined Gift of Life in 2000 and is currently the vice president of organ and tissue recovery services. He is a certified tissue bank specialist and certified surgical technologist.
Mr. Ryan has more than 25 years of experience working in the operating room setting. He has previously worked at Nazareth Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was recognized as a “STAR Employee” in 1994. He was recognized as “Employee of the Year” in 2000 at Gift of Life.
Shannon M. Kaminski, RN | Vice President, Transplant Coordinator Services
Shannon M. Kaminski, RN, joined Gift of Life as a transplant coordinator in 2006 and is now vice president of Transplant Coordinator Services. She leads a highly skilled team of referral and transplant coordinators, donation authorization coordinators, advanced practice coordinators and transplant coordinator managers. She also oversees all day-to-day clinical operations serving as an administrator on call for one of the leaders in organ and tissue donation in the U.S.
Ms. Kaminski most recently served as Gift of Life’s manager of transplant coordinator services, providing clinical support, expertise and supervision to a team of professionals who support families and collaborate closely with hospital staff during all phases of the donation process.
Prior to joining Gift of Life, Ms. Kaminski worked as a registered nurse in surgical intensive care and an open-heart step-down unit at Wyoming Valley Health Care System in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She is a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) and holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Luzerne County Community College as well as The Art and Science of Leadership Certificate from Gift of Life Institute. She is licensed as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania.
Larry Suplee, MS | Vice President, Transplant Information Center (TIC)
Larry Suplee is Gift of Life’s vice president of the Transplant Information Center (TIC). He oversees the allocation of organs for transplant and research. Mr. Suplee plays a key role in leading and implementing innovative strategies to maximize kidney and pancreas utilization. He is also responsible for overseeing the evaluation of all referred patients for tissue donation, including donation discussions with family members of potential donors and the coordination of eye and tissue donation activities. He joined Gift of Life in 2000 as an in-house coordinator.
Mr. Suplee has published abstracts and presented papers and posters nationally and internationally on best practices related to organ allocation and tissue donation. He currently serves on the UNOS OPO Committee, UNOS IT Customer Council, and has volunteered for various UNOS project work groups. He is vice chair of AATB’s Accredited Tissue Bank Council. Previously he has served on multiple work groups for AATB including: the Universal Donor History Questionnaire for Organ, the Tissue and Eye Donation Task Force, the Consent and Authorization Task Force and the Tissue and Eye Donation Stakeholder Review Focus Group. He is the recipient of the 2013 Network for Pancreatic Organ Donors (nPOD)’s Hero Award for Outstanding Dedication to Type I Diabetes Research.
He has a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University and a Master of Science in organizational and strategic leadership from Neumann University. He is also a certified tissue banking specialist.
Kimberly Yencho | Vice President, Finance
Kimberly Yencho joined Gift of Life in 2018 and is currently serving as the vice president of finance. Prior to joining the team, she was the director of finance at the American Bible Society and has held various accounting roles throughout the region.
Ms. Yencho holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from Drexel University.

Nai-Ning Liang | Senior Director, Pulsatile Preservation
Nai-Ning Liang joined Gift of Life in 1998 and was given the “Employee of the Year” award that same year. Currently, Mr. Liang is the senior director of pulsatile preservation. He is a certified tissue bank specialist and a certified eye bank technician. Mr. Liang previously worked as a visiting pathologist at the Coroner’s Office of Los Angeles County. He is a graduate of the Sun Yat Sen Medical School of China.
Christine McGarry | Senior Director, Quality Assurance
Christine McGarry joined Gift of Life in 2008 as director of quality assurance and now serves as the senior director of quality assurance. She has more than 20 years of experience in quality systems, computer validation and regulatory guidance in a variety of industries. She served on the Association of Organ Procurement Organization Quality Council’s Steering Committee in 2012, and was an examiner for the local Baldrige Association, Keystone Alliance for Process Excellence that same year.
