BRISTOL BOROUGH >> The Gift of Life Donor Program honored the Grundy Senators Ice Hockey Club of Bristol on June 8 with its Joseph Colfer Donor Awareness Award.
The award, presented during the annual Volunteer Ambassador Recognition Ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia, recognized the team for its outstanding efforts as youth promoting awareness of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
The ceremony celebrated the contributions of more than 180 dedicated Gift of Life volunteers throughout the region.
