Heart Recipient Competes in First Transplant Games

Tyshon Lewis received a life-saving heart transplant in 2016 and is competing with Team Philadelphia for the first time.

The 2018 Transplant Games have been a success so far for Team Philly with nearly 100 medals won and more events still to come. KYW Newsradio’s Jim Melwert is not only covering the Games and Team Philly, he’s also competing as he donated a kidney to his aunt 12 years ago.
