Approaching the one-year anniversary of my brother’s death has been weighing heavily on me as I opened The Morning Call Wednesday and read the column about more organ donors needed.
My brother was 60 years young and enjoying retirement when a massive stroke hit him. Although there was nothing the medical field could do to bring him back, there were plenty of things they could do to help others, based on Kevin’s decision to check the box marked “organ donor” on his driver’s license.
