I made this quilt block to honor Jack. He was my husband and my best friend. Jack loved to make things and work with wood. He cut down trees, cut up the logs, and used them to make furniture and buildings. This quilt was made from his “lumber jack” flannel shirts.
Jack died suddenly from a heart attack. He was 47 years old.
I am very proud to think that someone may be seeing the world through his eyes.
