Bill Radzwich

The “True Hero” in our “Threads of Love” square is our son, Bill. We are proud and love him as a son, brother, dad, grand-dad and friend. It depicts his love for life and his “Border Collies.” The pond, which he built, was a place he loved to swim and play Frisbee with his Collies. The “Red Cardinal” is a symbol of his love for nature, the cardinals frequent his parents’ yard summer and winter, now more than ever. His mother learned “Red Cardinals” are a message from Heaven, which she now truly believes.

Bill received an academic scholarship from Swarthmore College, Philadelphia, PA at the age of 47 to pursue a Masters of Social Work from Marywood College, Scranton, PA. He was so happy that day and his family very proud. This was the beginning of what he loved to do—helping others.

Many have said his demeanor, knowledge and sincerity were an enormous help to those that needed his counseling. Bill hoped he could provide a bit of solace by way of experience and information he had, truly he did just that. He overwhelmed people by his sincere caring for a strangers needs. Bill touched many lives and helped redeem them as they reached out for his helping hand. A co-worker described him as a person with limitless talent dealing with others. His love and concern for others was evidenced by his selfless choice of becoming a donor, giving many the “Gift of Life.”

Every year on his birthday his mother and sister release balloons on her property near Sugarloaf Mountain, PA where some of his ashes were placed. Brother Bob lives in State College, PA and Bill is up on Tussy Mountain, a place his brother runs and bikes. Brothers Tom, Bob and sister Denise and son Craig walked in a wooded area behind Bill’s parents’ home in West Hazleton, PA where he played and walked his dog as a young boy. Behind Bill’s home in Drums, PA, the family placed his ashes there. He loved to walk his Border Collies. Bill’s belief was you just didn’t’ talk about making the world a better place—you help by reaching out and giving of yourself. That he did!

Bill entered Heaven April 21, 2006. He was a very “Special Person.” We love and miss you Bill. You’re in our “Heart Forever”

Love you,

Your Family and Friends.
