Jeffrey C. Mann was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He was our "Superman." Jeff was a kind, strong man who would help anyone out. When his life was taken from him at the young age of 41, it only seemed right to consider organ and tissue donation. Jeff was healthy and not on any medication, he died from sudden death from a genetic heart problem. We loved and miss him very much.
The donor program has helped bring some peace to my children and myself because we know Jeff is out there still helping others.
The heart on the quilt square we designed, symbolizes the love we shared for each other. The green "Gift of Life" ribbon states Jeff's name so he will always be remembered as giving the gift of life.
It is truly a blessing that through the passing of one's life, we were able to help someone have a better life.
