Raymond F. Semler

Ray was a bowling coach for Jr. bowlers for the age of 5 to 18 years of age. This is his shirt that he wore every Saturday when he coached and the patch represents that he was a certified coach. Even though Ray had his right leg amputated from a car accident 43 years ago, he never let this stop him from what he wanted to do. He also bowled in a League. He was an usher at our church for 39 years. He loved children. He was a terrific husband, father, and grandfather.

He died at the age of 67 years, and is very much missed by all. He worked for the United States Postal Service and in his earlier years he was a draftsman. His life ended abruptly, but my children and I hope someone was able to lead a more normal life from his gift of life. In Ray's lifetime he also coached Little League Baseball. He has three children: Cindy, Denise, and Timothy, and four grandchildren: Kayla, Kelly, Nathan, and Aaron.
