Jessica Anne Drew

Jessica Anne Drew was only 21 years old when she was tragically taken from her family and friends on April 29th 2008. She was the sunshine in our lives and could light up a room with her smile. When she was very young, her favorite song was "You are my sunshine." Her quilt square was designed by Paula Sparks, a family friend from Maine.

From the time she was born, Jessie greeted the day with a smile. She was a friend to everyone, always there to listen and make you laugh. She was full of life and spirit and one of the funniest people you would ever meet. She loved to sing and gave effortless joy to all that had the privilege of knowing her. One of the proudest moments in her life was when she was able to designate herself as an organ donor on her first picture license. Even in the midst of our grief, hearing a certain song will bring a smile of remembrance to our face. Often our conversations are peppered with references of "remember when Jessie…" and we can laugh heartily with tears in our eyes.

We take comfort in knowing that heaven has a special angel and that she is always watching over us. Through the Gift of Life, she will live on in others that received her special gifts. We will hold her in our hearts forever and cherish our gift of the 21 wonderful years we had her in our presence.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are gray. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away."

Love you forever and sadly missed by,

Mom (your Krn), Dad, Lindsay and Matt, Kayla and Dan, Bella and Chloe, and family and friends
