The quilt square for Kevin Mamary was made from the lining of his motorcycle jacket he was wearing on the day of his accident. Kevin was in an motorcycle accident on April 4, 2008, he was 19 years old. He was riding with 10 other men after he attended his first breakfast run in Leola. His sister, Jaclyn, suggested using his motorcycle jacket for the quilt. We chose red lettering for the quilt because he was riding a red motorcycle.
