Cassidy Reichenbach

December 8, 1995 – February 20, 2008

We chose the symbols for the Cassidy quilt patch because they present our dear girl.

Softball- She was an avid softball player so we included a bat and softballs. Playing the sport since she was 8 or 9, she became an outstanding left handed pitcher known for throwing "the dark one." In practices, her pitches became faster and harder when she thought someone was making fun of her. Let me say, the catcher's hand hurt after a short time of her pitches.

#17- Cassidy's number in softball. She got the number every year she could. It was also the number of the high school varsity pitcher who was a very influential role model for Cassidy.

Dolphin- Cassidy loved dolphins from the time she was a little girl. Her bedroom has porcelain figurines, pictures, and bracelets of dolphins. When others liked horses and puppies, Cassidy always liked dolphins as long as we can remember.

Purple- Cassidy's favorite color. He clothes were purple, her room is purple, and most things in Cassidy's life were purple.

We're very proud of Cassidy and the memories we have of her. She always set a good example in school and sports by helping others, by achieving honor roll and excelling in academics as well as sports. These symbols are just a small representation of a very special girl deeply missed by brother Colby, father Doug, family and friends.
