Micky Lee McMonagle

Mickey Lee McMonagle married the love of her life, Samuel Clark McMonagle, on May 11, 1974 and was happily married for 35 years. They had four children, Jolene, Becca, Brandon, and Katelyn. Her greatest pride and joy were her seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. To them she was "Meme" and she spoiled them rotten. Family was the most important thing in her life and she made sure to instill that into her children. Mama loved to fill her yard with all sorts of flowers and flowering trees, but because she was such a 'girly girl" and didn't like to be dirty, she made dad do the planting. She loved fall with its slight chill, colorful leaves and pumpkins, but collected Santa Clauses. The music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Enya, and Celtic Women were almost always found in her player and she enjoyed scrap booking and making her own jewelry. She loved the scent of vanilla and most always smelled of the warm spice. After a very short battle due to a brain tumor she went to be with her Lord on October 10, 2009. Mama wanted so badly to be an organ donor because she believed in helping others. Because of cancer her corneas were all she was able to donate, but we know she'd have been happy to know she gave someone what they so dearly needed at the end of her life. We all love and miss you so very much and we'll see you in heaven one day.
