Jeffrey Steyer

December 30, 1954 – January 2, 2009

I can't express the overwhelming grief and sadness I felt when I lost my best friend, my loving husband, Jeff. We met when we were teenagers and shared over 35 wonderful years together.

Jeff was an amazing dad to our two children. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them. Getting up at 3:00 am to drive our son to play ice hockey or sitting in a parking lot waiting for our daughter at dance class were some of the joys of his life. He worked at the same job for over 20 years to ensure they had the best opportunities to find success and happiness in life.

Although he had simple needs, he had one dream he was trying to fulfill. He hoped one day to own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Jeff enjoyed watching his hometown Philadelphia sports teams, western movies, and magic shows.

Jeff had a very close circle of friends and family. He had a unique outlook on life but also respected those that differed from his. His infectious laugh brought tears to the eyes of those who heard it. He had an enormous heart and was always available to help out a friend or relative.

We will always love you Jeff,

Sue, Rachel, Danny, friends and family
