Jeffrey A. Winterringer Jr.

1973-2002

Our son Jeffrey was a very caring and loving person. He was very generous; always willing to give whatever he had to anyone in need.

Jeffrey died at age 28. He was an excellent carpenter and a "jack of all trades." He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, boating, jet skiing, four wheeling, snow skiing and just about anything that had a motor and went fast. He was an extremely hard worker and would work late into the night to finish a job.

Jeffrey had a way about him that everyone he met seemed to fall in love with. We think it was just that look and twinkle in his eyes that would make you feel his loving and caring nature. He was so passionate about things that it would make those closest to him crazy at times. It was that passion that made him so unique. It was that passion and helpful nature that made him so loved.

We all think about and miss Jeffrey every day. Memories, even joyful ones, are at times painful. They cause you to reflect on a happier time, which is never again to be. Those memories help keep Jeffrey close to our hearts and the pain reminds us of how precious life is. The pain caused by Jeffrey's physical absence in our lives convinces us that family is what makes life worth living, and the time spent with a loved one is worth remembering. Making this part of the Gift of Life quilt has been really great. We look forward to other projects that will honor the memory of our son.

Sincerely,

Jeff and Lynn Winterringer
