Matthew McMillen

Matthew was an incredible young man and we are honored to have had 17 wonderful years with him. He had more true friends in his short life then most people have in a lifetime.

Matthew was very energetic and caring. He was always willing to help those who needed him. He was a very talented artist and had won awards for his art.

Matthew's decision to become an organ donor came after watching a neighbor's recovery from a transplant. He was amazed at how the transplant changed her life. He decided when he died he wanted to do the same for others that needed his help, but no one ever thought he would be killed in a car accident only months after signing the donor card.

We chose blue for our panel because that was his favorite color. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with his dad. He was a soccer player as a young boy and enjoyed bowling with his family. The clovers have become special to us because they meant something special to him. Matthew always enjoyed sunflowers and cardinals. The white fabric is part of a tank top that he was almost always seen in.

Matthew will be remembered in different ways by those who knew him and loved him. He is sadly missed, and not a day goes by that he is not thought about in some way. We now think of you as our special guardian angel.

WE'LL BE MISSING YOU!
